Another depiction of an ancient ruin returning to nature. The stunning beauty of the Negev desert set-off by vestiges of bygone times...

Bits of kurkar, picked up on the beach are used to depict ruined buildings. Kurkar is a sandstone type substance left over from the Thira/Santorini tsunamis some 3500 years ago. (see pics below). The crumbling cliffs north of Tel Aviv are the only above ground examples of this fascinating phenomenon.
